Take it Away Scheme 18-25 yrs

The scheme, designed to help more people get involved in learning and playing music, allows 18-25 year olds to apply for an interest free loan of between £100 and £2,000 for the purchase of any kind of musical instrument, and pay it back in 9 monthly instalments (plus a minimum 10% deposit). Equipment, accessories and sometimes tuition can also be included. Applicants must be permanent residents of the UK and working for at least 16 hours per week in order to be eligible.

If you are under 18, a parent can now apply through Take It Away to buy an instrument on your behalf. All they have to do is complete the normal application and sign a declaration to say the purchase is for an under-18 year old.

Take it Away Scheme High Value Purchases

If you are purchasing an instrument for between £800 and £5000 you can now apply through Take It Away to repay the balance over 18 months with a minimum deposit of 10%.

Alternate Schemes

Roland has introduced its own scheme, rather inventively called Take it Today.  It offers qualifying individuals interest free finance representative of 0% APR on all Roland products purchased in store between £500 and £2000. This includes but is not limited to: Electronic Drum Kits, Digital Pianos, Grand Pianos, Synths, Keyboards, Guitar Products, Recording Equipment & Amplifiers. A 10% deposit is required, and the balance is payable over 10 months.

Hollywood Music also offers a subsidised finance scheme in store to customers who are not eligible under the Take it Away offer, or whose purchases are not suitable for the Roland scheme.

We can help you buy any virtually any musical instrument or accessory, and pay it back via monthly instalments. Minimum deposit amounts range from 10%-20% with a typical interest rate of just 4.9% APR. After the deposit has been paid, the balance is payable over 9 months. The minimum advance is £250.

In all cases applicants will be required to pay their deposit using a chip and pin debit card linked to the account from which the monthly Direct Debit payments will be taken.
