Making A Purchase It's easy to make a purchase from Hollywood Music Online.
We accept debit/credit card payment from Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and all major cards. As well as via the website, you may also order via the telephone on 01908 261 990.
When you place an order, a confirmation eMail will be sent to the eMail address you entered when ordering. This is to indicate we have received your order (although it does not indicate that a contract exists between us). Acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, exists only when the item is paid for and shipped (or collected, by arrangement).
We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, where we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or if we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. Please note that in the event of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the new price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling We now offer fulfilment and delivery on most online orders. Postage and packaging is currently calculated on an order-value basis. The appropriate shipping amount will be shown at the time of checkout, but should not exceed £10.
Some items however are simply too large or heavy to ship easily, and some keyboards or pianos may need specialist transport. In this case, further shipping charges may apply and we will contact you to confirm your acceptance.

Delivery Schedule You will receive confirmation of your purchase straight away by eMail.
Stock Items
We aim to despatch all Stock items within one working day, but this cannot be not guaranteed. We endeavour to fulfil all orders as professonally and quickly as possible.
Non-Stock items
It is not possible for us to hold all items we sells in our stock. Certain guitars and other items may first require ordering from a manufacturer, which can add 3-5 additional days to the delivery time so please bear with us.
Once your order is received however, you will normally be notified of the predicted delivery within one working day. |
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. Non-stock items usually arrive within 2-5 days, but this will be advised when we contact you on receipt of your order..
You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Guarantee In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, any goods can be returned for any reason within 7 working days for a refund, less the cost of carriage.
Returned goods must be in their original condition and original packaging within 7 days. We reserve the right to apply a re-stocking fee of up to 15% for items that were correctly despatched and are without fault.
If you decide you do not wish to keep an item you can either return it to us yourself, or contact us and we will arrange collection. In all cases, return postage MUST be by way of a Recorded or Signed-For service, otherwise we cannot confirm we have received the item back. Please note all postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer, The average cost for arranging a collection is £15-20.
This Money Back Guarantee NOT not apply to any software that has been opened or hardware that includes software as part of the sales package, where the software component has been opened. Similarly, Video/Audio content in the form of CDs or DVDs also cannot be returned if the item has been opened. |

Privacy Policy Hollywood Music do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy New and Pre-Owned items have different policies regards their return, as follows.
New Items
New items are protected against fault by the manufacturer warranty, where applicable. This warranty varies between the manufacturers, but is generally 12 months from date of purchase. Some suppliers such as Behringer currently offer a two year swap-out warranty.
ANY FAULTS, SHORTAGES, BREAKAGES OR OTHER ISSUES MUST BE REPORTED TO THE STORE IN WRITING (EMAIL) WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE ITEM.
Any faulty items must then be returned to the store, in their original packaging, within 7 days. Whenever practicable, Hollywood Music will confirm the fault, and contact the manufacturer on your behalf. If the manufacturer/supplier of the item(s) agrees to replace the unit, we will organise a replacement item on your behalf. If we are holding stock, you may be able to take a replacement from the shop.
If the item is not faulty, but you still wish to return it, you must still contact or visit the store within 7 days. We reserve the right to offer you credit in the form of Hollywood Gift Vouchers only, valid for six (6) months, up to the amount of the purchase price.
Your statutory rights are not affected by these policies.
Pre Owned Items
Where offered, warranties on pre-owned items are offered and supported by Hollywood Music directly. For instore purchases, this is indicated on the Sales Receipt issued at time of sale. Where offered, our wrranty protects the item against fault for six (6) or three (3) months from date of purchase, depending on the item type.
We make every effort to ensure our items descriptions are accurate, noting any blemishes or damage where appropriate. In the case of issue regarding condition, all tems are sold as described and only when an extreme difference from the advertised condition is evident, are we able to consider exchange or voucher-based refund.
Please note: We are an extremely reasonable and honourable business, and we will always do our best to support our customers.
