National Learn To Play Day

Wouldn’t it be great to learn to play a musical instrument? If you haven’t got around to it or don’t know where to find a teacher, this could be your opportunity to give it a try and get a free lesson!

On Saturday the 12th of April, you can try out guitar, piano, clarinet, trombone, violin, singing and drums with help from a professional music teacher. Ten minute one-to-one lessons are on offer at Hollywood Music and York House in Stony Stratford for people of all ages who want to have a go. All instruments will be provided so you don’t even need to have one already.

There will be competitions, prizes, special guests and cool musical gadgets to play with so make it a family day out in historic Stony Stratford and join in the musical fun!

Don’t be shy, come and have a go! It doesn’t matter what style of music you love so whether you’re a classical, folk, rock or jazz lover, the teachers are ready to inspire you to get started.

You can book a time by calling Hollywood Music on 01908 261990 – just let them know which instrument you want to try and what time you want to book. You can also call in to the shop at 90, High Street, Stony Stratford any weekday or Saturday between 9:30 and 5:30 or on Sundays between 11:00 and 3:00.

Regular updates will be posted on Facebook – hollywoodmusicshop - and Twitter - @hwmusicshop.
